This is a lovely Victorian ladies’ rocking chair made in solid American chestnut wood and is in unbelievably great condition. Woodworkers can
tell you that American chestnut is no longer harvested; it is almost extinct in the wild and only found now in old wooden barns, etc. It
is beautifully hand carved and turned. It is comfortable to sit in, but due to its delicate lines, we would not recommend
subjecting it to a lot of weight on a regular basis. The runner is stamped, "Natl Chair Mfg Co,
This is a Vintage Lincoln Beautyware Cake Carrier in pink. The lid has a quilted appearance. There are some small
nicks in the enamel, but they are not noticeable at a distance. The rim does have quite a bit of wear and a bit of rust,
nothing that cannot be cleaned up with a small bit of steel wool. The closure is a sliding type and it still works.
The pink handle has not damage. We believe the lid is chrome, but the base appears to be tin. The base measures 13"
square and the carrier stands 8" tall.
